Obituary, Donald Raymond Hopkins

Donald Raymond Hopkins, 69, a longtime resident of Dover Plains, NY, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022, at his home in Dover Plains. Mr. Hopkins was a mechanic at Westchester Modular Homes in Wingdale, NY.

Born on February 6, 1953 in Chicago, IL he was the son of the late Richard Walter and Delta Ann (Young) Hopkins. Mr. Hopkins is survived by a brother, William Hopkins of Pensacola, FL; a niece, Berni Wozniak; a nephew/godson, Scott Hopkins of Georgia. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Maria Hopkins who was married to his brother, Richard Hopkins, who passed away in 2004.

Mr. Hopkins is also survived by his longtime companion, Veronica M. Dobrowolski of Dover Plains, and her two daughters, Elizabeth and Maryann Regina Dobrowolski.

A Memorial Celebration will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at the American Legion Hall, 6420 Rt. 55, Wingdale, NY.
