The Dutchess County Drug Task Force reports the arrest of Christopher J. Norris, age 39 of Hyde Park, New York in connection with an investigation into drug sales out of a local motel in Hyde Park. On this date Drug Task Force members with the assistance of the Hyde Park Police and Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant resulting in the following:

Mr. Norris has been charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree with an intent to sell, a class B felony, and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fourth degree, a class C felony.  Mr. Norris was also found to have three outstanding arrest warrants issued by the Town of Hyde Park Justice Court.  Mr. Norris was processed at the Hyde Park Police Department and then arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail on no bail.  No further details will be released about the case at this time.
