State Police responded to a fatal crash in Campbell Hall

Town of Hamptonburgh – On March 14, 2022, at approximately 8:14 p.m., State Police from the Montgomery barracks responded to Sarah Wells Trail in Campbell Hall for a report of a vehicle rollover. Upon arrival troopers observed a 2015 Honda Accord off the roadway and on its roof. The Campbell Hall Fire Department and Blooming Grove EMS were on scene when State Police arrived. Investigation revealed that the vehicle was traveling eastbound when it left the roadway for unknow reasons and struck a rock causing it to flip over. The operator of the vehicle, Daniel P. Sullivan, age 46 of Campbell Hall was ejected from the vehicle. He was transported Garnet Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
