Dutchess County Hosting Supply Drive
to Assist Ukraine, Tomorrow – March 12th 

Dutchess County in partnership with the Afya Foundation will be hosting a humanitarian supply collection site to gather items to help those affected by the invasion in Ukraine. The first collection will be held tomorrow, March 12th from 9 am-1 pm at the former JC Penney location, at the Poughkeepsie Galleria, on the lower level at 2001 South Road (Route 9) in Poughkeepsie. The site is open to the public with no appointment necessary. Only new, unopened, and non-expired goods will be accepted. See the below flyer for a list of accepted goods. No other supplies are being collected at this time.

Starting today, the four Department of Motor Vehicles offices in Dutchess County will also provide donation boxes through Friday, March 18th — Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. — for those interested in contributing to this cause; these locations are: 

  • Poughkeepsie DMV, 22 Market Street, Poughkeepsie
  • Beacon DMV, 223 Main St, Beacon  
  • Millbrook DMV, 15 Merritt Ave, Millbrook
  • Wappinger DMV, 29 Marshall Road, Hollowbrook Park #3
