Upcoming Office for the Aging Nutrition Presentations

Upcoming Office for the Aging Nutrition Presentations

Good nutrition plays an important role in successful aging – from keeping seniors healthy and active, to lowering their susceptibility to illness. Throughout the year, the Dutchess County Office for the Aging (OFA) offers presentations to teach residents about the benefits of good nutrition, as well as the simple steps they can take to prepare and eat nutritious meals.

The OFA will offer several of these presentations throughout February, and as we observe Heart Health Month, the topic of this month’s presentations is “Eating for a Healthy Heart.”

Below is this month’s schedule of OFA nutrition presentations, which is subject to change; all presentations take place at 11 a.m.
