Cortlandt man charged with Driving While Intoxicated following welfare check

Peekskill, New York – On April 26, 2015, the New York State Police from Cortlandt arrested Kevin W. Thompson, 31 years old, of Cortlandt, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

Troopers conducted a welfare check on Thompson after observing his vehicle stopped in a parking area. Thompson was found to be intoxicated at the time of the interview.

Thompson supplied police with a breath sample that revealed a .17% Blood Alcohol Content and was issued traffic tickets directing him to appear before the City of Peekskill Court on May 7, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.
