Upcoming COVID-19 Testing and Vaccination
Opportunities at County’s Dover Location

Poughkeepsie … Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro today announced the County is offering upcoming COVID-19 testing as well as vaccination opportunities at its eastern Dutchess location at the former CVS, located at 3081 Route 22 in Dover Plains.

Testing Clinics

Dutchess County Department of Behavioral & Community Health is partnering with Senergene Solutions to offer rapid antigen and lower nasal PCR testing. Testing will be offered Tuesdays and Fridays, 4-7pm, January 25th through February 11th.

Testing results turnaround time for PCR testing is up to 48 hours from receipt of testing, though the timeframe can vary based on demand. Test results can be accessed through the iLab Patient Portal or by calling 1-800-869-0168.

There is no out-of-pocket cost to residents for these testing options. Senergene Solutions works directly with insurance companies for testing costs, or for those without insurance, with the Federal government for all costs (must provide valid U.S. identification).

Testing is available on a walk-in basis, but pre-registration is encouraged to speed-up the check-in process and can be completed online before arriving.

County Executive Molinaro said, “Demand for COVID-19 testing continues to be high and we are pleased to offer convenient opportunities for residents in the eastern parts of Dutchess County. We continue our efforts to expand access to testing for residents to make common sense choices about their health to protect themselves as well as their community and loved ones. We encourage everyone to be safe and remain diligent with the broad array of prevention measures available to help stop the spread of COVID-19—get vaccinated and boosted if you haven’t already, wash your hands often, wear a mask in public spaces, keep physically distant whenever possible, and, especially, stay home when sick.”

Dover Town Supervisor Richard Yeno said, “I am grateful to the County staff and volunteers and to County Executive Molinaro for reopening this location to help increase access to testing, vaccinations and booster shots for Dover and eastern Dutchess residents. These last two years have taken away so many things, but by working together and doing our part to keep our community healthy, we will overcome these challenging times.”
