State Police responded to a fatal single-vehicle crash of Grahamsville woman in the town of Neversink

Neversink- On December 5, 2021 at approximately 3:24 a.m., New York State Police from the Liberty barracks responded to State Route 55 in the town of Neversink for a report of a single vehicle crash. Preliminary investigation revealed that Erica Vilaca, age 30 from Grahamsville was traveling North on Divine Corners Road in a 2014 Jeep Compass when for unknown reasons the vehicle left the road off the west shoulder, hitting a ditch and continued across State Route 55, striking a guide rail and rolling over. Erica Vilaca was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was declared deceased at the scene.

State Police were assisted by Mobil Medic EMT’s, Neversink Volunteer Fire Department and NYS DEP. This incident is still under investigation.
