State Police searching for Philmont man

Philmont, New York – October 4, 2021, the New York State Police are searching for Deven B. Hotaling, age 22, of Philmont, wanted for multiple felony charges.

In May of 2020, Hotaling was arrested by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Livingston for Robbery in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, and Grand Larceny in the 4th degree, for forcibly stealing over $1,700 from a ride share driver, and in August of 2020, he was arrested for Arson in the 2nd degree, a class B felony, for setting fire to an occupied residence.  After failing to appear for future court dates, two warrants for his arrest were issued by the village of Philmont Court.

Deven Hotaling is known to frequent the village of Catskill and greater Albany area.
