Pawling resident Elaine Anne Dealy earns degree from Connecticut College

NEW LONDON, Conn. (June 10, 2021) – Elaine Anne Dealy of Pawling was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College on May 23. Dealy majored in Film Studies.

The 380 members of Connecticut College’s Class of 2021 were celebrated during an in-person event on Thursday, May 20, and were addressed by President Katherine Bergeron and Beyond Meat founder, president and CEO Ethan Brown. Brown, a Connecticut College alumnus and renowned entrepreneur and environmentalist, encouraged graduates to “seek their own personal truth as a foundation for their lives.” The senior class speaker was Emir Kulluk ’21, a film studies and philosophy double major and Center for International Studies and the Liberal Arts (CISLA) scholar.
