State police arrest a town of Poughkeepsie man for Grand Larceny 3rd degree

PRESS RELEASE

On June 3, 2021 at 5:15 a.m. State Police from the Middletown barracks responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from Stewart’s on State Route 17M in the town of Goshen. The vehicle stolen was 2012 Gray Jeep Grand Cherokee. Troopers located and stopped the vehicle a short time later on 17M at a BP gas station in the town of Wawayanda. Todd Johnson, 41 from the town of Poughkeepsie was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree. Johnson was arraigned virtually in the City of Middletown Court and remanded in Orange County Jail in lieu of bail. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Goshen Court on June 5, 2021 at 3:00 p.m.
