Cortlandt, New York – On May 6, 2021, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks in conjunction with the City of Peekskill Police Department arrested Miguel Pillacela, age 38, of Peekskill, NY, for Rape in the 1^st degree, a class B felony.

Investigation by the City of Peekskill Police Department and the New York State Police determined Miguel Pillacela forcibly raped a victim in the town of Cortlandt.

Pillacela was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Fugaro-Norton of the town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash or bond bail.
