Ghent, New York – On February 26, 2021, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks arrested Cruz Aguilarsay, age 26, of Hudson, for three counts of Rape in the 3^rd degree, three counts of Criminal Sex Act in the 3^rd degree, both class E felonies, and three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.

Following a crime tip to the State Police in Livingston an investigation revealed Aquilarsay raped a victim familiar to him under the age of consent.

Cruz Aguilarsay was arraigned in the town of Claverack Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond with a return date of March 2, 2021, at 5:30 p.m.
