Rhinebeck, New York – On December 9, 2020, the New York State Police from the Rhinebeck barracks arrested Daniel P. Shanahan, age 64, of Rhinebeck, for Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class E felony.

Investigation by the New York State Police and the Rhinebeck Police Department determined Daniel Shanahan possessed child pornography.

Shanahan was issued an appearance returnable to the village of Rhinebeck Court on January 20, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
