State Police in Kinderhook arrest fugitive from justice

Kinderhook, New York – On November 17, 2020, the New York State Police in Kinderhook arrested Shaquarn T. Jackson, age 25, of Bronx, NY, as a fugitive of justice.

At approximately 8:50 p.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2015 Nissan Altima for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law on State Route 9H in the town of Kinderhook.  Investigation determined Jackson was wanted out of Berks County, Pennsylvania, for multiple felony firearm and stolen property charges.

Jackson was arraigned before the town of Stuyvesant Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail without bail.  He is next scheduled to appear before the town of Kinderhook Court on December 15, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.
