Barbara Joan Morelli, 82, a long-time resident of Pawling, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Putnam Ridge Nursing & Rehab, Brewster, NY.
Born in the Bronx on June 28, 1938, she was one of three children born to the late Gerard and Frances (Nazarik) Sullivan. Her first husband, Blaise Morelli, passed away on October 18, 2004 and her second husband, Thomas “Carmine” Mostacci predeceased her on October 15, 2009.
Barbara is survived by two daughters, Frances Rimany of Florida and Tilia Morelli of White Plains; her brother Stephen and his wife Joanne of Valhalla; and her two granddaughters, Jessica Blaise Rimany and Nichol “Nikky” Rimany, both of Florida.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she is predeceased by her brother, Gerard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 11 AM at St. John’s Church, 39 East Main Street, Pawling, NY; masks are required and social distancing observed, in church and at the burial following in St. John’s Cemetery, Pawling, NY.
