Troop K – October 1, 2020, the State Police in Troop K and Grace Smith House Inc., a nonprofit organization offering crisis intervention, counseling, shelter, advocacy, Latina outreach, and services for children who are victims or survivors of domestic violence, will have a display at Troop K Headquarters for the Clothesline Project during the month of October.

The Clothesline Project is a powerful visual display of T-shirts decorated by survivors of violence or their loved ones. This national movement seeks to raise awareness about domestic and sexual violence while giving a voice to those affected.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month:  The purpose is to raise awareness of domestic violence, discuss domestic violence as a community, and to let victims know they’re not alone and that resources are available no matter where they live.
