Kent, New York- On August 17, 2020, the New York State Police investigated a fatal motorcycle crash on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Kent.

Initial investigation shows Robert J. Costabile, aged 69 years, of Valhalla, NY, was operating a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle on the northbound side of the Taconic State Parkway near Hortontown  Hill Road.  For unknown reasons Robert Costabile was unable to negotiate a curve and lost control before leaving the roadway.

Robert Costabile unfortunately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene.

This investigation remains ongoing.
