Tara Salvati of Poughquag Participated in Student-Faculty Collaborative Summer Research Program at McDaniel College

WESTMINSTER, MD (07/28/2020)– Tara Salvati of Poughquag (12570) participated in McDaniel College’s Student-Faculty Collaborative Summer Research Program.

Salvati collaborated virtually on “Branding, Engaging, and Creating Compelling Content for Academic Social Media” with Paul Muhlhauser, associate professor of English at McDaniel.

Salvati created a unique webtext, coming in a variety of forms, which include a paper, an infographic, a video, a rap and an article.

The research described the idea of rhetorical equity and how important it is for authors and journals in academic fields to present ideas in more than one way besides the traditional academic article.

Students interested in undergraduate research are annually selected to participate in this 10-week program, which is supported by donors.
