Kinderhook, New York – On July 14, 2020, the New York State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested Jamie L. Van Alphen, age 35, Xavier Anderson, age 29, both of Hudson, NY, and Khashand Branch, age 20, of Catskill, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2^nd degree, a class A-II felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5^th degree with intent to sell, a class D felony.

Subsequent to an investigation by New York State Police VGNET a search warrant was issued by the Columbia County Court for a residence on Fairview Avenue.  Execution of the warrant yielded approximately 235 grams of 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), and 30 grams of Xanax.

All three subjects were arraigned virtually before the city of Hudson Court and released on their own recognizance.  Their next scheduled court appearance is scheduled for July 21, 2020, at 9:30 a.m.
