On May 17, 2020, State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Middletown arrested Shawn C. Abrams. age 45 of Newburgh, NY for Grand Larceny 4th  (a felony) after taking $2,000 from a town of Wawayanda resident and failing to return and start the job.  Abrams, who falsely advertises working for “Middletown Plumbing and Heating” and “S&K Construction” is known to the state police and local law enforcement for taking down payments to complete pluming and boiler work and failing to return.  Anyone who believes they have been a victim of Abrams scheme should contact Investigator Stephen E.
