At 736 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Becket to near Pine Plains, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Great Barrington, Lee, Copake, Sheffield, Pine Plains, Becket, Norfolk, Otis, Ancram, Canaan, Millerton, Sandisfield, Falls Village, Housatonic, Ashley Falls, Salisbury, Stockbridge, New Marlborough, Monterey and Washington. There is an Enhanced Risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon into early this evening. The main threats will be damaging winds of 58 mph or greater and heavy rainfall. Some poor drainage flooding of low lying areas and ponding of water on roadways is possible with any thunderstorms. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
