Carmela “Mel” Josephine Russotto passed away at the Lutheran Care Center in Poughkeepsie, NY on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the age of 88.
Born and raised in Pawling, she was one of seven children born to the late Felice and Josephine (Bonvissuto) Russotto.
She worked at Pawling Rubber Corporation as a splicing operator before she retired and was an avid Yankees fan.
She is survived by her daughter Josephine Fusco (Philip) of Poughkeepsie, her sister Angie Hardisty of Pawling, her grandchildren, Philip Fusco of Kingston and Kelly Miller (Mark) of Rincon, GA, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
