Obituary, Susan Iozzo

Susan Iozzo passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at her home in Wingdale, NY surrounded by her loving family; she was 68.

Born in Yonkers, NY on March 28, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Claire (Healey) Bellantoni.  On September 8, 1979 she married Gregory Iozzo in Tuckahoe, NY and they resided in Eastchester, NY until 1989 when they moved to Wingdale, NY.  Susan was a trailblazer, being one of the first women charter bus drivers in 1971.  Later with her husband Greg she owned and operated the charter bus companies, Mayflower Coach and Happy Time Charter Coaches for close to 30 years.  She also drove a school bus for Pawling Central School for 20 years, she was very fond of all of her students.

Susan is survived by her husband, Greg; sons Gregory of Dover and Anthony of Wingdale; daughters Nicole and Meaghan, both of Wingdale; brother Richard Bellantoni of Florida; sister Carol (John) DiRusso of Yorktown; grandchildren Hunter & Ashlynn Oliver, Nicholas Beebe, Emerald & Harvey Iozzo, and Jeniffer & Nikki Rivera; sisters-in-laws Cathy Bellantoni and Irene Fiorello; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her Parents and a brother Francis.

A service will take place at a future date.

The family would like to thank her friend Dr Hary, Cynthia and the staff of HQ Division of Pulmonology and Danica and Leslie of Hudson Valley Hospice for their care and compassion.
