Obituary, CAROL DECARLO

CAROL DECARLO passed away April 18, 2020.  She was 83 years old. Born on March 23, 1937, she attended Pawling Central School and graduated from Pawling High School.

She is survived by her four children, Eugene DeCarlo and his wife Linda of White Sulphur Springs, NY, Daniel DeCarlo and his wife Trudy of Medford, Long Island, NY, Robert DeCarlo and his wife Kandi of Riverside, CA, and Lisa Gorman-Gulya and her husband Bill of Port Ritchie, FL; her sister Gloria Jeanne Masiero of Dover Plains, NY; her Grandchildren Eugene II, Joshua, Jennifer, Daniel, Michelle, Anthony, Danielle, Dion, and Darin; step Grandchildren Casey Green, Daniel Green, Christopher Tompkins, Lacey Griffith, and Christina Paquette;  and several Great Grandchildren, nieces and a nephew.

She was predeceased by her father Joseph Smythe, her mother Lillian Gordon, stepfather Thomas Gordon, and nephew Daniel Brill.

Carol worked at the Foundation for Christian Living for 7 years; however, she retired from Boehringer Ingleheim Pharmaceuticals in Danbury, CT.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Pawling, NY, the Red Hats in Pleasant Valley, NY, and was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America Hudson Valley.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are being handled by Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY.
