James J. Forsyth, 43, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2020.
Born in Pawling, NY on March 23, 1977, he attended Pawling High School and was a graduate of the class of 1996. After graduation, he proceeded to Mohawk Valley Community College where he earned an Associates Degree in Computer Graphics. He enjoyed spending all of his free time with his children, fishing, and was a die-hard Mets and Jets fan. He will be remembered for his quick wit, intelligence, and his creative sense of humor. He would have told anyone his greatest joy and accomplishment was being a father.
James is survived by his beloved son James S. Forsyth, his beloved step-son Cory J. Stewart, and the mother of his children and best friend Lynnae Spencer, his sister Amanda Holt (Noel Holt) and their children Nathan, Noah and Addison, his brother Christopher Forsyth (Janet Forsyth) and their children Michael and Gregory, and his aunts, Sarah Chipy (Gabriel, Diana, Hailey, Mia), Ellie Green (Jeffrey, Peter, Hannah), and Patricia Pickett, along with an abundance of friends that he considered family. He was predeceased by his mother, Suzanne M. Forsyth, and his father, Carl H. Forsyth, his cousin, Shane A. Chipy, his maternal grandparents Jim and Cecelia Green, and his paternal grandmother Ethel Forsyth.
