White Plains man arrested for making a terroristic threat

New Rochelle, New York – On March 17, 2020, the New York State Police arrested Pero P. Cheng, age 54, of White Plains, NY, for Making a Terroristic Threat, a class D felony.
On March 16, 2020, the GHP office building located at 145 Huguenot Street, in the city of New Rochelle, received a terroristic threat. Security immediately notified the State Police. An investigation found Pedro Cheng made a terroristic threat via telephone, and was subsequently arrest on March 17, 2020.
Pedro Cheng was arraigned before the Westchester County Court, and released on his own recognizance. Mr. Cheng is next scheduled to appear before the Court on May 5, 2020, at 9:30 a.m.
