Kathryn A Zarecki passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, February 24th at Danbury Hospital.
Kathryn was born on May 5th 1955 and shared a loving 46-year marriage to Joseph Zarecki, both proud residents of Pawling NY for over 35 years.
Kathryn known as “Babe” to her family and friends was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend with a passion for animals, art and all things creative. Her quick wit and laughter will be missed by all.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Zarecki, sons Mark Zarecki and Thomas Zarecki, brothers Thomas Mazur and Robert Mazur, sisters Patrica Lamorte and Maureen Rivard, grandchildren Jacob, Julia, and Matthew, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Sunday, March 1st from 3-6 PM at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Babe may be made to the Dutchess County S.P.C.A., 636 Violet Avenue, Hyde Park, NY 12538.
