Rep. Antonio Delgado Reminds High School Seniors that Deadline is Approaching to Apply for a Service Academy Nomination
KINGSTON, NY – U.S. Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) urges students that wish to enter a military service academy following graduation to complete an application package for nomination by October 31, 2019. Completed applications must be submitted to Rep. Delgado’s Kingston office by 5:00 p.m. on October 31st.
“Nominating accomplished and motivated young people in our Nineteenth Congressional district for acceptance into a Service Academy is a rewarding task and a humbling responsibility,” Delgado said. “The United States Military Service Academies offer graduating high school students one of the most outstanding instructional avenues to serve as a commissioned officer in the United States Armed Forces. I encourage young people across the district to submit applications before the end of this month.”
Applicants who submit a complete nomination packet on or before October 31, 2019 will be reviewed by Rep. Delgado’s Military Service Academy Review Board.
