Frances M. Blake, 97, a resident of Pawling, NY for the past 8 years, died at her home on October 10, 2019.
Formerly a resident of Bronxville, NY, she was born in NYC to John A. and Isabel Blake. Frances, an attorney, attended Rosemont College and received her Law degree from Fordham University School of Law where she was the Executive Director of Alumni relations for many years. Frances, also, was an assistant to the State Board of Law Examiners.
Frances is survived by her sister, Barbara Dallas of Pawling, and four nieces; Margaret Valentine, Susan Mann, Anne Vernon, and Clare Genn; 11 great-nieces and nephews, and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, 5:00-7:00 PM at the Horn & Thomes Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling, NY. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 15th, 10:00 AM at St. John’s the Evangelist Church in Pawling. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
