Mountaindale man arrested for assault

The New York State Police at Ellenville announce the arrest of Dylan A. Dordal, 18 from Mountaindale, New York for Strangulation 2nd, a Felony, Assault 3rd, a Misdemeanor and Harassment 2nd, a Violation.
On April 12, 2015 a female victim reported to Members at SP Ellenville, she had gotten into a domestic dispute with her boyfriend, Dylan A. Dordal on the evening of April 11, 2015. The victim explained she was at his residence in Mountaindale when the domestic incident took place. She told police she was slapped, choked and bit by Dordal during this dispute.
Further investigation revealed Dordal had assaulted his girlfriend by biting her arm. He choked her, by placing his hands around her throat and obstructing her airway. Dordal also slapped his girlfriend during the dispute.
On April 12, 2015 Dylan A. Dordal was arrested for Strangulation 2nd, Assault 3rd and Harassment 2nd. Dordal was processed at SP Ellenville and arraigned in theTown of Fallsburg court before Town Justice Robert Shineman, who remanded Dordal to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $2500.00 cash or $5000.00 secured bond. Dordal is to return in the Town of Fallsburg Court on April 14, 2015 at 5:30 p.m.
