Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Report

ARREST: Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Michael V McGuinn, 22 years old, of Valhalla, NY and Jenna L Annunziato, 18 years old, of Carmel, NY.

Mr. McGuinn was charged with the misdemeanors of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, having a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) greater than .08%, and a Vehicle and Traffic infraction of inadequate plate lamps.

Ms. Annunziato was charged with the misdemeanor of Criminal Impersonation in the second degree, the misdemeanor of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument (2 Counts), the misdemeanor of Obstructing Governmental Administration in the second degree, and the violation of Unlawful Possession of Marihuana.
On April 12, 2015 at approximately 3:37 a.m., deputies observed Mr. McGuinn operating a tan Nissan Maxima with inadequate tail lamps. During the traffic stop it was discovered that Mr. McGuinn was operating the vehicle in a highly intoxicated condition. Through investigation Ms. Annunziato presented herself as another person with a forged driver’s license in an attempt to deceive deputies. Ms. Annunziato was also found to be in possession of two forged driver’s licenses and a quantity of marihuana.

Mr. McGuinn was processed and released on Appearance Tickets returnable to New Paltz Town Court on April 22, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. Ms. Annunziato was arraigned in the Town of New Paltz Court and was released on her own recognizance. Ms. Annunziato is to due to return to the Town of New Paltz Court on April 15, 2015 at 6:00 pm.

ARREST: Deputies of the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Marina N Kats, 28 years old, of Accord, NY.

Ms. Kats was charged with the Misdemeanor of Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree.

On April 11, 2015, Deputies were contacted by the victim, regarding threats made via text message. Deputies located Ms. Kats, and took her in to custody without incident.

Ms. Kats was transported to the Sheriff’s Office Wawarsing Substation for processing, and then taken before Judge Shaheen in the Town of Rochester Court, where she was released on her own recognizance. Ms. Kats is due to return to court on May 13, 2015.
