Muhlenberg College celebrated its 171st Commencement on May 19, 2019. During the ceremony, which was held on the College Green, 502 students were awarded their undergraduate degrees.

The following local students graduated from Muhlenberg:

Gabrielle Hondorp (Poughquag, 12570): Gabrielle Hondorp of Poughquag graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Media and Communication.

The College also conferred honorary degrees to Commencement speaker author and attorney Scott Turow as well as former Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury Sarah Bloom Raskin and chief of the Wills Eye Pediatric Ophthalmology and Ocular Genetics Service Dr. Alex Levin ’78.
