75TH ANNIVERSARY OF D-DAY

Please join the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019, in commemorating the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. The Invasion of Normandy was a major event in the battle against Nazi Germany in World War II. Our program is an eyewitness recollection of the events leading up to and on that historic day. We will be show-ing “D-Day Plus Twenty Years” (120 minutes) This CBS program with Walter Cronkite interviewing General Dwight D. Eisenhower was done in England and on the beaches of Normandy. Originally aired in 1964, this is a timeless tribute to the events of June 6, 1944.
