Pair charged with drug offenses in Stony Point

On Saturday, May 25, 2019, SARMAD AHSAN, age 28 of Brooklyn and DONNY ARISTY-VALDEZ, age 29 of New York, NY were arrested for numerous drug-related offenses after a traffic stop on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the town of Stony Point.  They were found to possess a large quantity of cocaine along with LSD, MDMA, and marijuana.  They were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 2^nd degree, 3^rddegree and 4^th degree (all felonies).  They were arraigned in the Town of Stony Point Court and remanded to Rockland County Jail without bail.
