Beekman man arrested for child pornography

Beekman, New York – On May 16, 2019, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Eric J. Buckley, age 52, of Beekman, for Possession of a Sexual Performance Performed by a Child, a class E felony.

A joint investigation between the Troop K Computer Crimes Unit and SP Poughkeepsie Bureau of Criminal Investigation led to the application of a search warrant which was executed on May 14, 2019.  After initial analysis of the evidence, Buckley was arrested for possessing child pornography.

Buckley was arraigned before the town of Pleasant Valley Court, and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 secure bond.  Buckley is next scheduled to appear before the town of Beekman Court on May 21, 2019, at 6:00 p.m.
