Child sustains injuries from third story fall

Philmont, New York – On May 6, 2019, the New York State Police from the Livingston barracks investigated the injury of a three-year-old child in the village of Philmont.
An initial investigation by the State Police, Columbia County Child Protective Services, and the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office found the three-year-old victim fell from a third story window but did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time. Updates will be provided when available.
