State Police in Hawthorne asking for the public’s assistance with a hit and run investigation

PRESS RELEASE

Yorktown, New York – On March 20, 2019, the State Police from the Hawthorne barracks investigated a hit and run crash on the Taconic State Parkway.

Troopers are asking for the assistance of the public in identifying the suspect vehicle.  At approximately 4:41 p.m., the pictured black Honda Pilot was rear ended on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Yorktown by the suspect vehicle who then left the scene.  No description of the suspect vehicle is available.

If anyone believes they observed this crash at approximately 4:41 p.m. on today’s date, or may have information regarding the suspect vehicle, they are asked to please contact Trooper Matsoukas at SP Hawthorne (914) 769-2600.  Please reference SJS# 8814093.
