Catskill man charged with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree

On February 26, 2019, at approximately 6:50 p.m., the Village of Catskill Police Department and State police members were dispatched to a residence on West Bridge Street in the village of Catskill for an unresponsive female.  Resuscitative measures by EMS and responding officers was ultimately unsuccessful.  As a result of the death investigation, state police charged Stephen Harris, age 47 of Catskill, with Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3^rd Degree a Class B felony and Tampering with Physical Evidence a Class E Felony.

Harris was arraigned before Village of Catskill Justice Richard Paolino and was remanded to the Greene County jail without bail.
