Brittany Sue  Carroll

Amenia – Brittany Sue Carroll, 29, a lifelong Amenia, NY resident died Sunday, February 17, 2019, at home. Brittany worked as a landscaper for Phil Carroll Trucking and Landscaping in Amenia for many years.
Born April 5, 1989 in Sharon, CT she was the daughter of Helene “Sis” (McGhee) Carroll of Amenia and the late James Carroll. Brittany attended Webutuck High School and graduated with the class of 2008. She was a member of the 4-H Club program at the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Dutchess County in Millbrook, NY where she exhibited beef cattle in the region for several years.
In addition to her mother, Brittany is survived by two children; Tyler James and Dakota Raymon Carroll-Tripp of Amenia, two sisters; Tricia Brazee and her husband E.J. of Millerton, NY and Shelby Carroll and her companion Nicholas Horton of Amenia, her grandfather, Phil Carroll of Amenia, a nephew, Troy Brazee of Millerton and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 5-7 pm at 37 Park Avenue, Millerton, NY 12546. Funeral services will take place at 7 pm at the funeral home. Pastor William Mayhew will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 301 Manchester Road, #105, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
