Kevin Thomas Cox, 33, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away February 16th. Kevin was born on May 17, 1985 to Susan Grogan Cox and Thomas C. Cox in Mount Kisco, NY. He graduated from Pawling High School in 2003 and went on to graduate from New York University in 2007 with an individualized degree in computer science and music. He had an interesting and varied career that centered on technological innovation and creativity.
Kevin was an independent thinker who loved making music and working on creative projects with his many bright, like-minded friends. He loved his job working on technology for immersive multimedia experiences, living in Brooklyn, and his cat Ziggy. He touched everyone with his generous spirit and his ability to bring brightness and humor to any situation.
Kevin is survived by his mother Susan Grogan Cox of Sarasota, FL; his father Thomas C. Cox of Yorktown Heights, NY; and his sister Ashley Cox of Oakland, CA.
Calling hours will be held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, February 21st at Horn and Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 E. Main St., Pawling NY, 12564. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 22nd at St. John the Evangelist Church, 39 E. Main St., Pawling, NY, 12564.
