Amenia – Joshua DiGirolamo, 29, a lifelong area resident died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT. Josh worked as a self-employed painting contractor for many years throughout the area.
Born December 26, 1989 in Yonkers, NY he was the son of Edgard Rodriguez and resided with Ana Berger until he was adopted by Nancy (Dickerman) DiGirolamo in 1998. Josh attended Webutuck High School and went on to complete courses in medical billing and coding.
In addition to his mother, Josh is survived by three brothers; Ed DiGirolamo of Elizaville, NY, Edgard (Junior) DiGirolamo of Amenia, NY and Jerson DiGirolamo of Millerton, NY. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Alora, Elliott, Zachery, Melanie, Semira, Trinity, Jaycion and Jayleana, and by his longtime companion Trisha Gop and her children, Ethan and Gianna of Amenia, NY. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.
