State Police arrested four motorists for Driving While Impaired

On January 31, 2019, State Police Montgomery arrested Larenzo Jackson, 22 of New Windsor, NY for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Newburgh when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On January 31, 2019, State Police Greenville (Orange County) arrested Devin Culver, 28 of Port Jervis, NY for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on Interstate 84 in the town of Deerpark when he was involved in a one-car vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested.

On February 1, 2019, State Police Liberty arrested Dwight Coombe, 25 of Grahamsville, NY for DWAI Drugs. He was traveling on State Route 17 in the town of Liberty when his vehicle got stuck in the snow. Coombe walked to SP Liberty to ask for assistance. Coombe told the troopers he was operating the vehicle when he got stuck in a snow bank. While speaking to the troopers it was determined that he was impaired. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested.

On February 1, 2019, State Police Highland arrested Erick Dubon-Ortiz, 24 of Saugerties, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 299 in the town of Lloyd when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
