State Police arrest six motorists for Driving While Impaired

On January 24, 2019, State Police Monroe arrested Michael Lifvergren, 30 of Harriman, NY for DWI. He was traveling on West Mombasha Road in the town of Monroe when he was involved in a motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On January 24, 2019, State Police Liberty arrested Renee Lanye, 40 of Parksville, NY for DWAI Drugs. While on patrol, troopers observed an individual slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle with the engine running in the parking lot of the Liberty Plaza Parking Lot. Troopers approached the vehicle to check on the operator. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested.

On January 24, 2019, State Police Narrowsburg arrested Yevgeniy Parshutich, 28 of Damascus. PA for DWI. He was traveling on Skinner Falls Road in the town of Cochecton when his vehicle went off the road. Responding troopers observed the operator of the vehicle was impaired by alcohol and he was subsequently arrested.

On January 24, 2019, State Police Kingston arrested Gregory Ganio, 36 of Kingston, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 28 in the town of Shandaken when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On January 24, 2019, State Police Kingston arrested Christopher Gaffney, 18 of Saugerties, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 212 in the town of Saugerties when he was involved in a motor vehicle crash. Responding troopers interviewed Gaffney, the operator of the vehicle, and determined that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On January 25, 2019, State Police Highland arrested Chris Ragucci, 39 of High Falls, NY for DWI. He was traveling on North Putt Corners Road State Route 17 in the town of New Paltz when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.
