Arrest: Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of Salvatore C. Derosa, 27 years old, of Highland, NY.
Mr. Derosa was charged with the misdemeanors of Driving While Intoxicated, having a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) greater than .08%, and a Vehicle and Traffic violation of speeding.
On April 6, 2015 at approximately 3:31 p.m., deputies observed Mr. Derosa operating a grey Dodge Dart traveling east bound on State Route 299 at 92 mph in the Town of Lloyd. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and through investigation, it was determined that Mr. Derosa was intoxicated.
Mr. Derosa was processed and released on Appearance Tickets returnable to Lloyd Town Court on April 14, 2015 at 5:00 p.m.
Arrest: Deputies from the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office report the arrest of 26 year old, Nicholas D Stevenson of Wolcott NY.
Mr. Stevenson is charged with the Misdemeanors of Driving While Intoxicated, Driving while intoxicated with BAC greater then .08%, and the violation of failing to yield right of way when entering the roadway.
On April 5th, 2015 at 1:20am Deputies were on patrol on North Front Street in the City of Kingston when a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up op…erated by Mr. Stevenson pulled out of a parking lot in which he failed to yield the right away while entering the roadway, almost striking the Deputies patrol vehicle. Deputies conducted a vehicle and traffic stop and upon investigation it revealed that Mr. Stevenson was driving while intoxicated.
Mr. Stevenson was processed at the Sheriff’s Office Esopus Substation and then released with appearance tickets for the City of Kingston Court on April 15, 2015 at 2:00pm.
Deputies were assisted at the scene by the New York State Police and the City of Kingston Police.
