East Fishkill man charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated

Cortlandt, New York – On April 5, 2015, New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Aron Wiegand, 25 years old, of East Fishkill, New York, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.
While on patrol, Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a BMW operated by Wiegand for speeding. Subsequent to a roadside investigation, he was found to be operating his vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol.
Wiegand was transport to SP Cortlandt where he submitted to a chemical test that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .18%. The defendant was issued traffic tickets returnable to the Town of Cortlandt Court on May 1st, 2015 at 9:00 a.m.
