State Police remove seventeen impaired motorists from the road

On November 16, 2018, State Police Kingston arrested Richard Stokes, age 45, of High Falls, NY for DWI. He was traveling in the town of Marbletown when troopers received a call for an erratic operator traveling at a high rate of speed. Troopers observed the vehicle on Mohonk Road disabled due to heavy snow. While speaking with the operator of the vehicle, troopers determined that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 16, 2018, State Police Kingston arrested Reinaldo Castillo, age 58, of West Babylon, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 28 in the town of Olive when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 16, 2018, State Police Middletown arrested Victoria Rooney, age 28, of Wyckoff, NJ for DWAI Drugs. She was traveling on State Route 17 in the village of Goshen when she was involved in a motor vehicle crash. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested.

On November 16, 2018, State Police Middletown arrested Kenneth Smellegar, age 48, of Pearl River, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 17 in the town of Goshen when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 16, 2018, State Police Mongomery arrested Christopher Henry, age 27, of Walden, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 17K in the town of Newburgh when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 17, 2018, State Police Haverstraw arrested Jayde Marks, age 20, of Nanuet, NY for DWI. She was traveling on Germonds Road in the town of Clarkstown when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 17, 2018, State Police Ellenville arrested Khristopher Snow, age 37, of Accord, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 209 in the town of Wawarsing when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 17, 2018, State Police Greenville (Orange County) arrested Bernabe Rodriguez-Diaz, age 31, of Middletown, NY for DWI. He was traveling on North Street in the city of Middletown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 17, 2018, State Police Catskill arrested Ericka Tomaszewski, age 42, of Saugerties, NY for DWAI Drugs. She was traveling on State Route 23 East when she was involved in a motor vehicle crash in the town of Catskill. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by drugs and was subsequently arrested. She was also charged with Criminal Possession of Controlled Substance 7th degree (misdemeanor).

On November 17, 2018, State Police Catskill arrested Jarrett Daddario, age 31, of West Kill, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 23A in the town of Hunter when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 18, 2018, State Police Middletown arrested Nicholas Satterfield, age 32, of New City, NY for DWI. He was traveling on Dolson Avenue in the City of Middletown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 18, 2018, State Police Montgomery arrested Donna Reis, age 62, of Monroe, NY for DWI. She was traveling on State Route 747 in the town of New Windsor when she was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 18, 2018, State Police Greenville (Orange County) arrested Edison Medina, age 22, of Middletown, NY for DWI. He was traveling on Hasbrouck Street in the city of Middletown when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 18, 2018, State Police Highland arrested Liam Gallagher, age 26, of Cold Springs, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 299 in the town of Lloyd when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 18, 2018, State Police Highland arrested Anthony Varrone, age 23, of Marlborough, NY for DWI. He was traveling on State Route 9W in the town of Marlborough when he was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that he was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 18, 2018, State Police Haverstraw arrested an 18-year-old driver from Spring Valley, NY for DWI. The operator was traveling on Quaker Road 299 in the town of Haverstraw when the vehicle was stopped for a vehicle and traffic law violation. An investigation revealed that the operator was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested.

On November 18, 2018, State Police Haverstraw arrested Malgorzata Sabia age 30 of Pomona, NY for DWI. She was traveling on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the town of Clarkstown when she was involved in a verbal argument with a passenger in her vehicle. Troopers stopped to investigate. An investigation revealed that she was impaired by alcohol and was subsequently arrested. After being processed for DWI Sabia became combative and began to throw furniture in the lobby of SP Haverstraw. While attempting to calm her down she struck a trooper. She was additionally charged with Disorderly Conduct (misdemeanor), Harassment 2nd (violation) and Obstruction of Governmental Administration (Misdemeanor)
