Reynolds Earns Second Career All-Conference Honor

OSWEGO, NY (11/07/2018)– The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its All-Conference field hockey teams, with Oswego State senior Katie Reynolds being named to the first team. It’s the second time the Pawling native has been named to an All-Conference squad, earning second-team honors a year ago.

This season, Reynolds was twice recognized as SUNYAC Field Hockey Athlete of the Week for her stellar performances. Among conference athletes, the senior was tied for second in goals (15), while ranking third in points with 37.

In SUNYAC play, Reynolds averaged 1.0 goal per game, placing her in a tie for third in the league. She also averaged 2.0 points per game, good for sixth.

The forward/midfielder led Oswego in numerous categories, including shots (56), shots on goal (35), as well as game-winning goals (3). She was also tied for second in assists with three.

On September 22, Reynolds tied two single-game Oswego field hockey records, scoring four goals and recording eight points in a 4-3 victory over Brockport.

In just two years as a Laker, Reynolds cracked the career record books as well, standing alone in fifth place in both the points (68) and goals (29) top 10 lists.
