TOWN OF SOMERS MAN ARRESTED ON NARCOTICS

SALE AND POSSESSION CHARGES

Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley Jr. reports the arrest of a Town of

Somers man on narcotics sale and possession charges.

In October 2018, an investigator assigned to the Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU) developed information that the man was involved in the sale of Cocaine in the Mahopac area. The investigator was able to make contact with the subject and arrange for the purchase of alleged Cocaine on at least (2) two occasions. On October 27, 2018 members of the NEU took the subject into custody at a Mahopac area restaurant/bar.

Terron A. Fleming, age 42, of 24 Clayton Blvd, Somers, NY was charged with (2) two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and (2) two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree.

Fleming was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Spofford of the Town of Carmel Court and remanded to the Putnam County Correctional facility with no bail, pending a future court date.
