State Police seek the public’s assistance with a hit-and-run accident on the Sprain Brook Parkway

PRESS RELEASE
Yonkers, New York – On October 28, 2018, the New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks investigated a hit-and-run motor vehicle accident on the Sprain Brook Parkway, southbound, near mile marker 0.8 at approximately 6:20 p.m.

Witnesses described two vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed, and weaving in and out of traffic.  One of the vehicles, only described as black, struck a Toyota Sienna mini-van causing it to then strike a third vehicle.  The operator of the Sienna sustained head injuries due to the crash.  The suspect black vehicle then fled the scene.
